What’s Happening in Stillwater Sports

As fall is approaching, it means that football is starting to get in full swing as the Pioneers and Cowboys are in action this week. 

Pioneer volleyball has an away match against Norman North High School Thursday night at six, followed by a weekend tournament at Bishop Kelley High School in Tulsa. Afterwards, they host Norman high school next Tuesday night at six. 

Friday night lights return to Stillwater as the Pioneers open the season against Union High School at seven. On Saturday morning, the cross country team has a meet at Moore High School starting at six. The softball team hosts Edmond Memorial next Tuesday at 6:30. 

Cowgirl soccer is looking to continue its undefeated season as they host Texas State Thursday night at seven, and UL Monroe Sunday afternoon at one. Both of the games can be watched on ESPN+. The 16th ranked Cowboy football will host the Arkansas Razorbacks at 11, the game can be watched on ABC. The 20th ranked Cowboy golf team opens its season in Sammamish, Washington, as they play in the Sahalee Players Championship this weekend.
