Tomorrow is the longest night of the year. Plus free a Community Christmas Dinner, Live Music, and of course some Santa!
The Stillwater Arts Council is calling for local artists’ work to be printed into wrapping paper to support the council outreach efforts. Proceeds from the sales will be reinvested into the arts in Stillwater.
Who:
- Stillwater Arts Council is organizing the event.
- Local artists are invited to submit their designs.
What: "Wrap It With Art" is a fundraising initiative that turns local artists' work into wrapping paper to support arts programs in Stillwater.
When: Artwork submissions are due by August 23, 2024. The wrapping paper will be available for purchase starting November 1, 2024.
Where: Submissions and purchases will take place online and at local Stillwater locations.
Why: To raise funds for Stillwater art programs and celebrate local artists.

Local artists may submit their designs for consideration via email to stillwaterartscouncil@gmail.com no later than August 23, 2024. The Council will scan the five winning entries in as a repeated pattern or as a whole image for the 24x36 rolls of paper (examples of artwork included).
With wrapping paper designs ranging from generic to holiday-themed, customers can give back, support local, and increase art opportunities in Stillwater throughout the year. The wrapping paper will be printed by Career Tech and available for purchase in November at Prairie Arts Center, Stillwater History Museum at the Sheerar, Visit Stillwater, and other local businesses.
The Stillwater Arts Council Board understands that shopping and supporting local individuals, businesses, organizations, and quality of life efforts means money is staying within our community and is ultimately a win/win for everyone.
