Bliss Books and Bindery at 120 E. 9th Ave. will host "The Book Bazaar," an open-to-the-public event featuring several talented local authors on Sunday, August 25.
From 2 to 4 p.m., attendees will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with local authors, listen to readings, and win exciting prizes.
Featured authors include Lisa Courtaway, author of the Stillwater-based ghost story/mystery series Shadows of Camelot Crossing; E.M. Chaffin, known for her YA mystery series Bearded Rat Mysteries and the novel Newfangled Madness; S.J. Palmer, author of the YA contemporary western Saving Hope; and Kristy Werner, creator of the Oklahoma-based contemporary adult Christian romance series Tulsa Town Romance and Hearts of Osage County.
All are encouraged to stop by. Attendees will be entered to win books from each author, enjoy treats, and receive writing tips and reading lists. The first ten visitors will win a mystery game from Bearded Rat Mysteries. Readings will take place from 2–2:20 p.m. and 3:30–4 p.m.
